When I was younger, I would go for one basic type of jean. They were all pretty much shaped the same and you had no choices. With trends from the 70’s and 80’s coming back in style, along with pulling influence from nautical and disco themes, the choices are abundant.

Wearing jeans to work has become a reality. In most cases, this jean comes in a wide leg or flared cut, which makes them perfect for every body type. If you do have wide hips, you should let the jean flow from the hip all the way down, de-emphasizing everything else. This look looks very chic with a collared shirt tucked in.

Slim through the hip and thigh, the leg starts to open up at the end of the thigh, and go straight down. This slims you down and is so very trendy.

Curvy woman stop. This type of jean is called skinny for a reason. While you don’t have to be stick thin to wear these, remember that these jeans are practically painted on once you get into them.

This jean looks great on everybody. This is my go-to jean. I wear them with flats, with heels, with boots, tucked into boots…etc.

Flared

Flares are definately back, going along with the 1970’s trend. They look great with boots or pair with a glittery shirt and platforms to feel like a true disco queen.
