Dangerously Cool Trends
Cruising around Nieman Marcus’ site, I found that they have links called “Passport to Summer.” They list some wicked locations that I wish I was going to myself. Anyway, today I’m going to do Passport to Monte Carlo. Check out my favorite picks:

This
Marc Bouwer Beaded Silk Dress is absolutely gorgeous. This color will go great on most skin tones and flatter your arms and shoulders.
you can never go wrong with a
black and white dress. I love this one by Bianca Nero because it’s great for showing off your legs, but also the puffiness at the bottom helps hide those problem areas.

This gorgeous
Kay Unger Satin Red Dress flatters any shape or size. I love the drapery of the fabric, and the color (they refer to it as lipstick/deep pink) is absolutely gorgeous.

Lastly I LOVE the color of this
David Meister Satin Dress. I can’t even express how gorgeous it is! It should look great, especially if you have been working on your summer tan.
The weekend is coming up and who knows? Maybe you have somewhere extra special to be! Browsing online I found some great evening gowns that exemplify the SS08 trends and, *gasp* are on sale!
ABS has done it again. Known mainly for taking celebrity gowns from the red carpet and into your closet for a fraction of the price. Here are my faves:
This gorgeous turqoise gown would look great in any skin tone:
Next we have this orange long gown that I think would look great, especially if you spent these last few weeks tanning and toning up. The halter top makes shoulder look lean and the flowyness of the dress makes it easy to cover up any flab.
Lastly everybody needs that little black dress. I chose this one because I feel it is flattering for every figure. The thick straps make it easier for larger chested women to wear a supportive bra. It’s not too short but you can still show off your legs without being too suggestive.
These are a few of my favorite things…
I have loved fashionchateau ever since I ran their campaign at myspace. They combine high end clothing and accessories with the carefree feel of So-Cal. I went through their site pretending that I have money (lol) and found a few great items:
This gorgeous purple mini dress by Sky is to die for. You can wear it so many ways its unbelievable. Wear it as is for a night out, wear it over jeans as a super long top…with leggings for some Sunday tea, I could go on!

I love this clutch. It might be hard to pull off depending what outfit you are wearing, but if you are wearing all black it would be a great key piece to throw in.

I LOVE C&C california. You can usually find their stuff at Bloomies. They make cute ass tank tops and tees made out of comfy pure cotton. I mean you would wear them to dinner and then wear it as your pjs.

A sweater dress can be used for so many things. Put a blazer over it to wear to work…hike up the hemline and wear it to a hot date.

Lastly, I love these jeans by true religion. They aren’t for everybody though! Their buttoned pockets can add unwanted attention to your derriere and might even make it look better. And for me, I do have a problem with their inseams…then again I am 5′9 so I’m in the minority.

Since it’s friday, I figure we should go over what to wear this evening. One of the biggest trends for SS/08 is bringing back 70’s GLAM. I’m talking glitter, sparkles, short shorts, bell bottoms, jumpsuits, the whole shabang. Here are some of my picks:
