Dangerously Cool Trends
Allow yourself a Carrie Bradshaw moment and look at these beautiful Christian Louboutin shoes. They just might be the most beautiful shoes in the world. At the very least they’re the most beautiful shoes I’ve seen all day. The only tragedy is that they’re not on my feet.
So what do you wear with the most beautiful shoes in the world? My first thought- nothing at all. My second thought- a simple black dress. When you go out in these shoes, let the shoes do all the talking. They’ll say “I’m expensive and oh-so-pretty”, and you won’t have to.
Looking for something to wear while you summer in the Hamptons? Report Signature has some amazing new heels out that will look great on everyone. Why I like platforms:
1. They make you taller
2. Your legs look miles long
3. They dress up any outfit
4. They are very trendy for SS08
Here are my personal favs:

Of course they are all black! but they are so friggin fierce it’s nonsense.
So at work we were talking about random stuff, and someone brought up this website called polls boutique. I checked it out and lo and behold it is addicting! I like it because I can get other people’s opinions about things I want to post about or buy for myself. Take a look at my latest poll:

Turns out these shoes by charles david won:

So as much as I hate to admit it, I actually own the “cheap” version of these. I needed some fierce heels to go with this new years eve dress…hell lets me honest, it was like a tank top but I wore it as a dress. Anyway, I never go for Steve Madden because they usually don’t fit me properly, but these are the most comfy heels I’ve ever owned. Sure they look high and intimidating, but the platform heel definately helps. Only gripe, they still don’t fit all the way, and my toes will slide forwsrd and start to pinch :[ *ouch*
Enjoy your steal of the day!

Another great alternative to expensive shoes is Nina Shoes. Here are some of my favs that follow the trends for the season:

Since it’s friday, I figure we should go over what to wear this evening. One of the biggest trends for SS/08 is bringing back 70’s GLAM. I’m talking glitter, sparkles, short shorts, bell bottoms, jumpsuits, the whole shabang. Here are some of my picks:

The time is spring…finally time to put away your knee high boots and uggs (yes I still wear mine :X). My biggest problem is that I have expensive taste. I see a pair of Louboutins or Zanottis, my heart stops and I can’t think for a good minute. I caress the shoe lovingly and then turn it over. Seeing that the price equals 1 week’s paycheck I put them down and continue to walk towards the *gasp* cheaper section.
Mind you cheaper for me doesn’t mean Chinese Laundry anymore. It means I have to stay away from the “premier designers” and go towards the Marc Jacobs and the Stuart Weitzmans. For the purpose of this blog I’ve taken some of my favorite shoes and paired them with the affordable versions.

Paul Marciano you have done it again. I found this gorgeous to die for shoe in the pages of Elle Mag in an ad.

I fell in love. You can find it here: Iris Shoe
Normally I don’t go for purple, but it is the perfect spring color. With bright shoes like that you can pair them with neutrals like blacks and jeans. They would go great with a pair of peg leg jeans like these by Hudson:
You don’t understand…I need these shoes. Not only do they go with the theme of retro glam (added platform), you can wear them with anything. These 5 inch heels are friggin’ fierce. I’d rock them out to take out the cat litter I swear.
