Dangerously Cool Trends

This is my vice. Not drugs, gambling, but shoes. I buy them when I don’t need them and they make me melt everytime.
Zappos.com is one of my all time favorite sites. Not only do they have a huge selection of the finest shoes, their shipping is ridiculous. It’s free every time, and it comes next day! That being said, let’s go over some trends that they have on their site:
Missoni is looking fierce with these fabulous espadrilles:

They are bright, colorful, and fun. You could pair them with anything for that great splash of color and added interest to any outfit.
Juicy Couture has these adorable ruby red flats:

DSquared has these peep toe slingbacks:

And last but not least, my favorite designer who I can’t afford, Giuseppe Zanotti has these GORGEOUS Open Toe Mules:

LOVE THEM. I can’t say anything else.
I’ve embedded a clip of the CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair) trend show for spring/summer 2008 titled “easy delight.” Shows fresh, fun colors, and floral prints.
I LOVE that dress at the end. Definately a mix of hippie/romantic. Depending where you live (if it’s hot), sheer layers can come in very handy. They have the ability to hide flaws and make you look very soft and feminine.

Spring 2008 trend…Yellow. Spring designers bring a crop of lemony hues that bring mind summer and lots of sunshine.
Check out this 1960s mod dress by marc jacobs:

Can be dressed down with a pair of classic ballet flats, or dressed up with some fierce pumps.
Adorable Anne Klein T strap sandals:

I love the look of the T strap in heels, and I love it even more in these sandals. I’ll definately be sporting these come next month.
Lastly I have these little gems…I mean I already worship Louboutin but then he has to come out with these fabulous heels:

They would not only make your legs look wicked, but they would go with anything. I’m not saying to go out and wear all yellow at once, but that splash of color goes great with a pair of dark skinny jeans or a little black dress. It makes things look more intriguing without using too many accessories.
Hippie Chic - Bohemian, bright colors, beads, sandals, headscarves, headbands…etc.

Romantic - Floaty, Feminine fabrics. Long dresses and skirts. Think frilly and ultra-girly.

Tribal and Tropical - Designers are coming out with bold, beautiful prints reminiscent of nature and animals.

Belts - Are still in! They draw attention to the waist and make everybody look cinched and fabulous.

Retro Elegant - Look foxy this season in outfits inspired by the 70’s and 80’s. Bright neon, Big and bold patterns. Sparkles and minis are definately in. Same with gold and platforms. Don’t overdo it because you will end up looking tacky! Thank goodness my mom kept some of her clothes, now she can fit in!
